The Challenge

Since its founding, OpalStaff has enjoyed steady growth in both size and revenue. The company is strategically positioned in the Baltimore-Washington corridor, where there a long-standing technology community and numerous government organizations. This makes competition among the area’s staffing firms, many of which offer services similar to OpalStaff, extremely stiff.

To differentiate OpalStaff from its competitors and to assist the company in becoming the go-to providers for individuals seeking work, Pugh & Tiller (formerly Weiss PR) was tapped to help increase visibility of the company and its advantages over the competition among both the company’s target customers and individuals seeking employment in the technology and IT space.

The Solution

Pugh & Tiller designed a media and influencer relations program that focused on activating targeted media verticals at the local and regional levels in order to inform target audiences about OpalStaff, its leadership, and its services, and to put a human face to the corporation. Pugh & Tiller also created and implemented a social media program intended to increase awareness of and engagement with OpalStaff among key audiences and decision makers.
