BALTIMORE, MD (8/22/12) — Jessica Trzyna, Executive Vice President at Weiss PR Associates, has been named to The Daily Record’s 2012 VIP (Very Important Professionals) List.
The Daily Record created its VIP List to recognize younger professionals who have been successful across Maryland. Winners are selected by The Daily Record’s editorial staff based on their professional accomplishment, civic involvement, and impact of achievement.

Weiss and Trzyna founded Weiss PR in 2008. In four years, the company has tripled its number of clients. Trzyna has been particularly effective in new client development nationally, as well as raising visibility and support for client issues on Capitol Hill.
Prior to starting her own company, Trzyna rose from an entry-level position to Vice President of a national public relations firm by the time she turned 30. There, she was responsible for developing public relations strategy for numerous clients, including several technology firms that grew from start-ups to acquisition candidates.
Beyond her professional career, Trzyna has been active on the boards of the American Marketing Association, The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation, and the Baltimore Humane Society. She is particularly passionate about her work with animals. “Animals have always played an important role in my life,” Trzyna says. “I have always tried to give back to them through volunteer efforts, fund raising, voicing my opinion on legislative matters that impact animals, and planning special events that benefit animals.”
Winners of The Daily Record’s 2012 VIP List will be honored August 22 at a cocktail reception at Gertrude’s at the Baltimore Museum of Art. Winners also will be profiled in a special magazine to be included in the August 24 edition of The Daily Record.
