Weiss PR Founding Partners Named to Area Boards

BALTIMORE, MD (6/1/10) — The founding partners of Weiss PR Associates, Inc. – Ray Weiss and Jessica Trzyna – have been named to the Boards of two area business associations.

Weiss, who co-founded Weiss PR in 2008, recently was named to the Board of the Baltimore County Public Schools Education Foundation. Weiss has a long history in handling public relations for education organizations, including the Maryland State Department of Education, Laureate Online Education, and the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (for which he won a Silver Anvil, the public relations profession’s most prestigious award).

Trzyna, Weiss PR’s other co-founder and the firm’s Executive Vice President, was named a Director with the Maryland Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA). A two-time winner of the Public Relations Society of America’s Silver Anvil, Trzyna plays an integral role in managing client relationships and strategic direction for Weiss PR. She is also active in animal rights organizations.
